Your doctor/ health provider can refer you as can family members / friends/ people who know you well. You can also refer yourself.
You do not have to be a certain age to attend the group. Our oldest member is 96 and the youngest is 43.
You can bring someone along to stay with you throughout the session if you wish.
If you have to leave the group early for any reason, that will not cause a problem.
We have large power point presentations which are clearly visible to all and we use an amplifier throughout the session.
We have wheelchair access and disabled toilets at both venues.
Sessions are held at Neuadd Mynydd-y-Garreg, Heol yr Ysgol, Mynydd-y-Garreg, Kidwelly SA17 4RL and The Antioch Centre, Copperworks Road, Llanelli, SA15 2NE
The sessions are held at: Kidwelly on Wednesdays 10.30am - 12pm and Antioch Centre, Llanelli on Thursdays 10.30am - 12pm and 2pm - 3.30pm
The 1st session ( a taster) is free. The cost thereafter is £5. Included in the cost is tea/ coffee/ cakes and a free prize draw. Carers just pay £1 for refreshments.
Payment is made in cash.
